Tony Ross is an internationally-acclaimed British author-illustrator. He has worked on over 3000 books with eminent writers including Jeanne Willis, Michael Palin, Francesca Simon, fellow 2018 Emirates Airline Festival of Literature attendee David Walliams, Clare Balding, Michael Rosen and Roald Dahl, and has illustrated the works of late authors Willis Hall, Eric Morecambe, Oscar Wilde and William Shakespeare.

His books have won prominent literary awards around the world and in 2017 he was revealed to be the most-borrowed illustrator in Britain’s libraries, with more than one million books borrowed in a year.

Ross has also tried his hand at film-making, adapting his own series Towser and Little Princess for television.
