Maggie Aderin-Pocock

A space scientist whose passion is presenting science to a general audience, Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock inspires new generations of astronauts, engineers and scientists, sharing the wonders of space through her “Tours of the Universe”. Maggie won the Talkback Thames new talent award at the Women in Film and TV Awards for Do We Really Need the Moon?, presented Do We Really Need Satellites?, and featured in Channel 4’s Brave New World alongside stints on The One Show. She currently presents BBC 4’s The Sky at Night and CBeebies’ Mini Stargazing. In 2009, Maggie was appointed an MBE for services to science and education.
