Kevin Crossley-Holland is a prize-winning poet whose most recent collections include The Breaking Hour and Seahenge: A Journey. His translations are gathered in The Anglo-Saxon World, The Exeter Book Riddles and Beowulf. He is the author of the Penguin Book of Norse Myths and a moving memoir of childhood, The Hidden Roads. Kevin’s children’s books have won the Carnegie Medal and the GuardianChildren’s Fiction Prize, and include the Arthur Trilogy, Norse Myths and Between Worlds, his definitive collection of the folktales of Britain and Ireland.
Kevin has worked with acclaimed composers (including Cecilia McDowall with The Girl from Aleppo), photographers and artists. He was President of the School Library Association (2012-17), and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
