Jeremy Hunter is a photo-journalist, writer, broadcaster and lecturer. He began his career in advertising as a television creative, winning a number of international awards in Cannes, Venice, New York and Los Angeles, before working as a foreign correspondent reporting extensively from around the world, and a writer/producer for the BBC and Channel 4. He now divides his time between television and photo-journalism. Throughout his career, he has taken a special interest in documenting the world’s festivals, rituals, ceremonies and celebrations. As a photo-journalist he specialised in travel reportage and contributes to a wide variety of mainstream media and travel-related magazines. His reportages have been recognised with two UNESCO awards.
