Ibrahim Al Marzouqi

A scriptwriter, filmmaker and crime fiction writer. He graduated from United Arab Emirates University with a Bachelor of Social Work  in 2006.

Ibrahim’s first novel Valium won the second place at the 2017 Emirates Novel Award. He wrote the script for and directed the short film Hjoula, which has received public acclaim at local film festivals, and contributed to writing many Emirati works, including a Grandmother Farm film part 1 and 2. He co-founded with his brother the Dhabi Film Company. He has also written Euthanasia.
