Palestinian filmmaker and writer Hind Shoufani has lived across the Middle East and in the US. She has an MFA in filmmaking from NYU and is an IWP scholar at Iowa University, 2011.
She has worked in the literature and video industries for 20 years as a freelance artist, curator, performance poet, filmmaker, translator and teacher. She has written two poetry books and edited two poetry, essay and photography anthologies in the Middle East, and publishes poetry in many international magazines, journals and anthologies.
Hind is currently finishing her second feature documentary, her third poetry book and a variety of audiovisual projects in the Shindagha museums, TV films and fiction writing.
She is obsessed with her 63 plants and is attempting to cover every surface of her world with glitter.
