Hananah Zaheer

Hananah Zaheer is a short story writer.  Her work has appeared in several literary magazines and journals.

She won the Lawrence Foundation Literary Prize for Fiction in 2017, was a finalist for the Doris Betts fiction prize in 2014, has received fellowships from the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and Ragdale Foundation and is a Pushcart nominee. Zaheer has a Master of Fine Arts, Creative Writing degree from University of Maryland and has taught writing at various universities for 12 years. She is the founder of Dubai Literary Salon and a co-founder of #MTGcollective, a traveling retreat for writers and poets. She also serves as Fiction Editor for Four Way Review.

She currently lives in Dubai where she teaches writing workshop and improvises theater and life.
