Dana Dajani is an award-winning Palestinian writer, performer, and advocate. She lives and works between the Middle East and Europe. Dana’s background in theatre has informed and influenced her love of writing, and allowed her to create a unique style of solo performance. Part spoken-word, part one-woman show, Dana uses gesture, character, and a simple scarf to transport audiences through different themes, personas, and perspectives.
Highlights from poetry performances around the world include Columbia University’s “The Muslim Protagonist” Literary Conference (2015) and opening for Cairokee on tour across the UK (2018). In 2019, Dana performed in collaboration with Arymux at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain, and was the Artist in Residence at the Liverpool Arab Arts Festival in the UK.
