April Hardy writes romantic comedies set around the New Forest. She won the inaugural Literary Idol Contest at the 2014 Emirates LitFest with the opening page of her novel-in-progress Hazard at the Nineteenth. The same year, she was a runner up in the Exeter Novel Prize with the manuscript of Kind Hearts & Coriander. A member of the Romantic Novelists’ Association, her debut novel Sitting Pretty was shortlisted for the 2017 Joan Hessayon Award.
All three novels were published by UK publisher Accent Press, and she is currently working on her fourth.
