Jeffrey Archer, whose bestselling novels include Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less, Kane and Abel and The Eleventh Commandment, has sold more than 270 million books throughout the world. His books have been published in 97 countries and translated into more than 37 languages. Archer was one of the literary stars in attendance at the fifth anniversary of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature in 2013.

Archer’s Only Time Will Tell, the first book in his latest series, The Clifton Chronicles, reached number one in the hardback fiction charts and was a top ten bestseller for six weeks. Five more Clifton Chronicles have been published to critical acclaim with the seventh and last book, This Was a Man, due to be published in November 2016.

His latest book, Cometh The Hour, reached the number one spot on the New York Times bestseller list, both in print and e-book.

He is the only author ever to have been a number one bestseller in fiction (eighteen times), short stories (four times) and non-fiction (The Prison Diaries).

Archer is married with two sons, and lives in London and Cambridge.
